Summary

In this story author writes about fight between the French and British in North America in 1757. The Last of the Mohicans about race and the difficulty of overcoming racial divides. Author suggests that interracial mingling is both desirable and dangerous. Author lauds the genuine and longtime friendship between Hawkeye a white man, and Chingachgook, a Mohican Indian. Hawkeye and Chingachgook’s shared communion with nature transcends race, enabling them to team up against Huron enemies and to save white military leaders like Heyward. On the other sign the story shows the conviction that interracial romances are doomed and undesirable.

The story love of Uncas and Cora ends in tragedy, and the forced interracial relationship between Cora and Magua is portrayed as unnatural. Through Cora, the author suggests that interracial desire can be inherited Cora desires Indian men because her mother was Indian women also.

The story also tell the character Uncas as “the last of the Mohicans” symbolizes the death of Indian culture at the hands of the encroaching European civilization. The title anticipates the ultimate tragedy of the novel’s plot. The title specifically refers to Uncas is The Last of the Mohicans.

Finally, Uncas, Magua and Cora dead in this story and British give Fort William Henry to French Because they cannot fight. British not enough men to fight.

The book is easy to understand because is using a simple word and easy sentence to understand .I like the pictures because it can helpful to me for understand while I read.
I like the story because is very interesting and have more suspense part in the chapter by chapter. I like Uncas characters. He Chingachgook’s son, he is the youngest and last member of the Indian tribe known as the Mohicans. he noble proud, self-possessed young man.Uncas falls in love with Cora Munro and suffers tragic consequences for desiring a forbidden interracial coupling. I think the book has a message and the message is a love and friendship. For example Hawkeye is white men and Uncas is Indian, however they different ethnic. They become Friendly.

I think in the drama, the title must be change a new story. My suggestion a new title is Snow White and Seven angels because the all character is a pretty girls. Then, I think this this maybe interesting and suintable.

Secondly, I think the drama can also give jokes for audion, for example the poison apple can change durian and other fruits.

Lastly, I hope the drama can be successful and become a winning in the contents.
