This story about Dick Dewy and Miss Fancy Day,they are loving couple.Dick Dewy lives with his parents and helps his father, the village carrier.Dick and his father both sing in the church choir.
They lives in the village of Upper Mellstock in the south of England,and many thing happens in the village.
But when Miss Fancy Day come to work in the village school,everything changes and different.Miss Fancy is young and beautiful,and Dick fall in love with Fancy at the first sight when he dance with him at carrier" house.He wants to marry her.
At the same time Farmer Shiner wants Miss Fancy too and the newchurchman,Mr Maybold want Fancy too.But Fancy love Dick,and her father don't want Fancy married with Dick because Dick don't have education.Her father want Fancy marry with man from good family and have education.
Now,the conflict happens with Dick,Fancy,Mr Shinner,Maybold and Fancy's Father.
In the End,Dick and Fancy married and they do the wedding reception in the garden under a big greenwood tree,finally Fancy's father accept Dick as a Fancy husband.
Q:Is the book easy or difficult to understand?
A:The book easy to understand because it use a simple vocabulary and the writer also use the simple sentences.Every chapter in this book easy to understand and not boring when i read.
Q:Do you like the pictures?Are these helpful?
A:Yes,i like the pictures because it's very helpful.It's also make me more understand the story.Example, i can imagine their faces like beautiful Fancy her thick dark brown hair and what their wear like Fancy wear a pretty white dress,and also how look the Dick face and the group choir and the vicar also.
Q:Do you like this book?why?
A:Yes,because the book about loving couple Dick Dewy and Miss Fancy Day,the beautiful young lady.Miss Fancy also have fans like Farmer Shiner and Mr Maybold the vicar,but she still fall in love with Dick,the choirmen.It's mean the status are not important in their relationship.I also can learn about new word in this book such as the vicar,choirmen in church and others.
Q:Which parts/characters do you like best?
A:I like the Miss Fancy Day character,because she is beautiful and young.She also clever play the organ.she is only one girl play the organ in church.
Q:Do you think the book has a message?What do you think that message is?
A:Yes,for me the important message is trust your couple like Miss Fancy trusted her lover Dick Dew.You also must have mentally strong if something happen with your relationship.You also must think that what your parents do for you is the best things,however you don't like.
