This story is about in 1757, there wase a crisis between British and France. British are consist of Munro as a British colonel, William Henry as a British fort and Duncan Heyward as a British major. While in France it consist of Montcalm and Hurons as a French general.
This story is also about a man, Munro who send his two daugter to Fort William Henry with Duncan Heyward. They also accompany by Chingachgook, Magua, Uncas and Hawkeye. In order to go pass woods. It also tell us about anti-British group expecially Magua. Magua is a person who really hate British group because British have conquered them.
Magua wish to kill Hawkeye and Munro. He is really anti-British. Uncas son of Chingachgook is one of the that rescue two daughter from Magua. Same with Heyward who is really in love with Alice.
In this story we can see many diffrent between Alice and Cora. Cora is a step sister of Alice. She is a mix west Indian girl. Who is beautiful, brave, and willing to sacrifice. She is also a clever girl. While, Alice is prettier than Cora but she not as brave as her step sister.
Kolonel Munro was shocked when he noticed that his daughter was kindnaped by Mangua. He sent his follower to rescue his daughter. Uncas and Heyward also help him to rescue his children. Unfortunately, Uncas died when he try to help them. He was the last man standing in this story.

In my opinion this book to difficult to understand because many character had this book. I like the picture and the picture helpful to me more understanding about this story. I like this book because this book had lot of moral and spirit such as about Cora. Cora is very brave and high spirit. After that we can got message from this book expecially about Cora to want resque him youngsister Alice from Magua.
