THE LAST OF THE MOHICANS

Chapter one to chapter three talked about the French that want to take Fort William Henry from British. Colonel Munro couldn’t fight Montcalm without more men. So, the tell General Webb sent 5000 men from Fort Edward and his daughter Cora and Alice followed General Webb to Fort William Henry for meet their father. Afterthat, the Major Duncan Heyward helped they to go to their father. But, on the way to their father, they have through many problem before they will meet their father. They meet a Hurons Indian that very hate the British and want the white man to die. But, there are have the Mohicans tribe too. The Mohicans is kind and they helped Heyward, Cora and Alice to Colonel Munro. They also met Hawkeye, a white man that live with the last Mohicans, Uncas and his father, Chingachgook in the wood.

Yes, because the word of vocabulary are easy to understand. Beside that, I like The Last Of The Mohicans because it story about the spirit in their Tribe. They want the best for their Tribe.

Indians have a big Tribe like Mohicans and Hurons. If they just have one Tribe, they will be strong and don’t have any country afford to lose them. But, what happened in this story is very sad. Indians fought each others and they built their own Tribe. Beside that, they also hated each other. So that, another outside enemy can take their country with easy such as British and Franch.
