comment about activity class
Assamualaikum to all my friend.............In my opinion about activity class i think that drama can give me chance to improve my english language. I enjoy with drama "Snow White" because it very fun and will learn a new word. Second the drama give me more learn about how to speake english in audience. So i think that student will enjoy to learn english .About song is good, where student become is familiar with english language and english song. Student also can learn about grammar, idiom and many thing throught the song. Thank you

TASK 1
We chose word ‘Bling’ as one of two words in our assignment ‘David Crystal’ . First time we listen this word ‘Bling’, we don’t know what the meaning of bling but we try to hear carefully. Second time, we understand but not much. Next, we open and read the tapescript . Finally, we can pick up and understand the meaning of this word. In our opinion, we think bling used to describe shiny thing and have a lot value. For example diamond, jewellery, accoutrements, car and others. All of this has a good amount of money. So, that showed how shiny thing. Our new word when we hear are ‘ Bling Breakfast’. Before that, we don’t know about this word. The meaning of ‘Bling Breakfast’ is same with definition of a rich meal. So, when we have a rich meal, we can also call ‘Bling Breakfast’. We think this word very unique and make sure can use always for tell to everybody if you want to make different time speak. But when people not understand, we can tell them because we know that is right.
Second words that we chose are hoodie. Before we do the online listening programme, we don’t know about the words. It so strange to us. Then, we listen the audio about hoodie. First time we listen it, we can’t understand what he say it too fast. Then we listen again and very carefully. We listen it for a few times and read the tapescript. When we read the tapescript, we can see many new vocabularies that we don’t ever hear before that. The words is ‘hoodie’ , deliberately, obscured , and ‘hoodie hoodlums’. We read the tapescript and try to understand about it. Lastly, we can conclude about ‘hoodie’. It can refer to people who were going around looking like gangs, wearing hooded tops, baseball caps, clothing which deliberately obscured the face and suggesting that the wearer might be a danger to the public.
TASK 2
On the Learning English programme, we chose a topic entitled How To…expressing no strong feelings. We can learn many new words like feature and recap that we not hear before. The first important thing that we can learn from this topic is about simple expressions and how important pronunciation is to meaning. We know that, our tone of voice is very important in showing the strength of feeling. The pronunciation and expression can make two response like positive and negative.
Beside that, we also learn a few expressions from the programme like it’s OK, I can take it or leave it, I don’t mind it and so-so. Lastly, we learn about pronunciation like consonant to vowel linking and weak forms. In this part, we learn that the pronunciation about the word that not stressed and stressed is different. The content in the topic give us many advantages and benefit to our English course and speaking.We enjoyed and excited while we do the listening programme....
